Tampa Termite Treatment
Termite treatment is necessary when a termite infestation is present, but preventive termite treatment is the much preferred method for most home owners, especially if homes in the area have had termites.
With regular termite inspections and termite treatment, Nelson’s Pest Control can offer a comprehensive termite repair warranty that will cover any termite damages that may occur at your home under the warranty. The warranty is renewed annually and can keep you protected from termite infestations. Do your self a favor and give us a call today if you do not have a termite warranty.
Because the effects of a termite infestation are so devastating to your home and your finances, prevention is our best recommendation.
- We will inspect your home to determine that you are free of termites and visible termite damage, to ensure that you qualify for our prevention program.
- Upon qualification, we will treat possible entry points with Termidor®, the nations leading termiticide and issue a certificate stating that you are termite free and are under warranty if you should encounter any termite problem for a year.
- This is an annual service that requires you to be billed on our convenient monthly auto bill pay program (and can be renewed annually for up to 10 years).
What if you have termites already?
Nelson’s Pest Control uses the nations leading termiticide, Termidor®. Termidor® offers a ten-year warranty. Upon inspection of your property and home or structure, treatment, suggestions, and pricing will be provided. We offer free termite inspections, though some restrictions apply.
Drywood Termite Treatment
Many residents near Tampa, especially those living near the coast will experience a drywood termite infestation in their home. Drywood termites spend almost their entire life inside the sound, dry wood members upon which they feed. Winged adults or swarmers, shedded wings, ejected pellets and galleries inside wood are typical signs of a drywood termite infestation. Accumulation of pellets, especially in a cone-shaped pattern, is a sign of active drywood termites.
Subterranean Termite Treatment
The subterranean termite is the most destructive and most frequently encountered termite in the Tampa area. Subterranean termites nest in the soil, but they attack structures by building tubes (mud tubes) that connect their nests to the wood structures. The presence of winged producers, mud tubes and wood damage are signs that an infestation is present. The winged producers surface from colonies in large numbers usually from January through May during the daylight hours.
